I AM QUITE PASSIONATE ABOUT INTERIOR DESIGN. HERE’S WHY —

I was brought up among strong women who worked tirelessly to tailor their interior and exterior spaces to the needs of their family. They took great pride in marrying their heirloom pieces with their secondhand finds. Oftentimes passing their special pieces among each other because they simply could not bear to part with them. Their attention to interior spaces lent itself to a sense of comfort and ease I found was not often present in others’ homes.

Eventually, as an adult, I found myself doing the same — showing love to others through my own interior spaces.

I FOUND THAT A WELL DESIGNED SPACE COULD NOT ONLY DECREASE STRESS, BUT FOSTER DEEP CONNECTION.

I also found that I loved sharing the “gift” of design with others — I have certainly been known to strong-arm others into giving me the creative freedom to revamp their spaces on a budget!

In 2016 my husband and I bought a “diamond-in-the-rough” and as we nursed it back to life I realized design coursed through my veins more forcefully than I once thought.

So, began the dream of Hello Pearl Interiors — aptly named after the pet name my Granny often called me as a child — Pearl — you guessed it, she was one of those strong women who taught me how to use the power of interiors to enhance my own life and that of others.
