Attorney Roderick S. Oreste is the principal attorney for Oreste Law.  He focuses his practice on family law matters such as divorce, alimony, child custody and child support.  

Family law cases require a high level of compassion and dedication that some attorneys simply don’t understand. For example, navigating a contested family law issue, such as child custody or a division of marital assets, can be complex and difficult even in the best of times. It can feel almost impossible to manage when you are emotionally distraught. Having experienced, honest and compassionate counsel in the event of divorce can be invaluable. 

Rod Oreste founded Oreste Law as a solo practitioner in 2010, with the simple, but clear, desire to provide quality representation to people facing tough legal challenges.  Attorney Oreste’s goal is not only fierce advocacy for clients but also obtaining the client’s legal best-case scenario.  He strives to maintain the highest level of professionalism, allowing him to build productive relationships with all parties involved. He has successfully litigated many contested family law cases, including many highly contested cases involving issues such as child custody, parenting time, child support, spousal support (alimony), division of marital debts, the contribution of attorneys’ fees, and premarital agreements, just to name a few.

Attorney Oreste received his undergraduate degree from the University of Massachusetts in Communications and his Juris Doctor from Suffolk University Law School.

Before founding Oreste Law, Rod spent over 12 years working for New England's beloved baseball team, the Boston Red Sox. During his tenure there, he held several management positions in the Public Affairs department and acted as the Red Sox alumni liaison. In 2007 Rod co-authored the best-selling book, Red Sox Legends, which includes a collection of Red Sox photographs assembled by the Boston Public Library accompanied by short stories and player interviews about Red Sox history. Rod attended Suffolk University Law School while also working full-time for the Red Sox.
