How important is it to you to buy or sell your home and wake up months later with no regrets? How would it feel to know that you made all the right decisions at the right time in an honest negotiation that gave you real satisfaction and peace? While you might not care about my life history, you do care about choosing a real estate agent that will make a meaningful and valuable difference for you and your family. On the one hand, you're seeking a specific outcome and you expect your agent to be an able guide to help you get there. On the other hand, unless you trade real estate for a living, you don't know what you don't know and you're hoping that your agent will draw out your needs and wants in ways you have yet to articulate.
It's in this context that I share some relevant personal history. I learned the meaning of hard work early in my career, working full time to pay my way through college at Northeastern University in Boston. After that, I landed a position at what is now Ernst & Young which taught me enough about finance to move on from there and join a team of entrepreneurs in the early phase of a startup. I was lucky enough to participate in the success of taking the company public, after which I switched gears to work on raising my two daughters. During that time, I worked with special needs children at an elementary school, built a successful business in skincare products, and bought and sold several homes for my family.
Why does this matter to you? I know how to work hard and I understand that I am only worth the value I deliver. As a parent, and some of you will relate, if you're paying attention you learn what it really means to listen and understand. And I've taken risks, just like you are taking right now, whether by choice or of necessity. It can be scary and nerve-wracking to sell your home or try to find your next dream home in what seems like an ocean of not-quite-right, and there is often too much to learn about the market in such a short period of time.
Lastly, having been standing in your shoes many times with my own personal real estate transactions, I've seen what a difference it makes when an agent is like an extension of myself, anticipating my needs, working hard for me, and making me feel like my outcome is as important to them as it is for me. I joined Better Living Real Estate because of an alignment of philosophy and my hope is that whether you are selling your home or seeking a place to raise your own standards, that your experience is indeed smooth and stress free.
Whether you're looking to upsize, downsize, relocate to a different town or state or are contemplating new construction, I look forward to helping you achieve your outcomes as you define them, ensuring you have no regrets as you start the next chapter of your own great story.
