Michelle M. Raymond
Attorney Michelle M. Raymond, as the head of the firm’s Domestic Relations Practice Group and Shareholder of Doherty, Dugan, Cannon, Raymond & Weil, P.C., focuses her practice in mediation, collaborative law, and divorce litigation. She assists her clients through their difficult legal and personal times with a focus on the prevention of future legal entanglements. Attorney Raymond provides mediation and litigation services for all family-related disputes, including, but not limited to: divorce, child support, post-divorce, parenting plans, paternity, separation, guardianship, and non-traditional family issues. She also works with families to craft agreements that take into account the specific challenges involved with special needs children. In addition, she works with families in the areas of adoption, parent coordination, and Guardian ad Litem investigations.
Attorney Raymond works with a team of professionals to guide her clients through the often stressful and overwhelming decisions involved in the divorce process. In addition to the legal aspects of family law, she focuses on helping her clients maintain and regain control over the decisions that affect their lives, integrity, and confidence all in a confidential setting.
Attorney Raymond is a trained and experienced mediator who has helped clients mediate family and other disputes since 2000 along with the 3 other attorneys at DDCRW. Her mediation services offer a alternative for family, divorce, and probate disputes, and provide parties with more control over the process.
Since 2003, she has also practiced collaborative law in divorce & family matters. Collaborative law is an alternative dispute resolution process in which both parties and counsel contract to negotiate without court involvement. It provides clients with the assurance of having legal counsel involved throughout the divorce process with the added advantage of guidance from financial and child/divorce coaches.
Along with 3 other attorneys at DDCRW, Attorney Raymond is approved as a Guardian ad Litem for both private pay and court-appointed investigations. She is able to utilize her extensive background and training to provide well-rounded reports to assist the court, counsel, and parties to resolve cases and move families forward.
DDCRW has a full-service team of professionals to assist the Domestic Relations Practice Group's 6 attorneys with all aspects of family law, including complex financial and business matters and real estate. DDCRW has over 12 attorneys practicing in estate planning, probate administration and litigation, commercial and residential real estate, business law, civil and business litigation, employment law, and landlord tenant/evictions. This depth of practice areas helps broaden the services we can provide our family law and other clients.
