My name is Jon Lucas and I am a Divorce Mortgage Consultant and a Certified Divorce Lending Professional (CDLP®). I have over 3 decades of experience in mortgage lending and I have focused my career on helping divorcing families settle their real estate situation in a way that is not only fair and equitable to both parties, but also possible to be obtained in the world of mortgage financing.

Earlier in my career I worked on several cases with divorcing couples, but the cases were unsuccessful because I was brought in too late in the process. Both sides agreed on a solution that was signed off on by the courts, but no one had gone through the process to find out if the agreed upon solutions were actually possible. They were not.

Recognizing that real estate often plays a pivotal role in divorce settlements, I became Rhode Island's first Certified Divorce Lending Professional (CDLP) in 2015.

As a Divorce Mortgage Consultant, I work with divorcing couples, attorneys, mediators, financial planners, and other professionals to find attainable solutions to the real estate problems associated with divorce. My team of professionals can help divorcing couples get through the process and hopefully remove some of the stress involved.
